The fashion world loves a link to the wonder years of old Hollywood.

Both Audrey Hepburn’s granddaughter Emma Ferrer and one of Grace Kelly’s granddaughters, Jazmin Grimaldi, have made their modelling debuts in US Harper’s Bazaar recently, while Charlotte Casiraghi, another of Kelly’s grandchildren, is a face of Gucci.

Now it’s the turn of Ethan Peck, grandson of Gregory Peck, who is best known for his roles as Atticus Finch in To Kill A Mockingbird and Joe Bradley in Roman Holiday, in which he acted opposite Hepburn.

The 29-year-old, who is also an actor, is the man of the moment for Salvatore Ferragamo and stars in a new short film that celebrates the brand's 100-year anniversary and its longtime love affair with Tinseltown.

Taking the role was easy as his grandfather had also had a relationship with the brand.

"I know he and Ferragamo collaborated many years ago. I have the unique situation of being his grandson, hence, I'm gratefully the recipient of some special opportunities such as this," Peck told  Pret-a-Reporter. "I myself, however, am also becoming more engaged with the fashion world, so I take some responsibility, too."

Ethan is the son of Stephen Peck, who is Gregory Peck’s son from his first marriage to Greta Kukkonen. His mother is abstract artist Francine Matarazzo.
